Inside My Digestion-Friendly Kitchen!

I like to keep up with nutritionists and health food bloggers, but let's be real - who knows what kind of sneaky snacks are lurking in their kitchens behind all those quinoa and kale photos! As someone dishing out health advice, authenticity is key, so I make sure to practice what I preach. I aim for the organic and wholesome stuff, but I've got a stash of guilty pleasures too. It's all about balance, right? No one's food game is flawless, but as long as we're doing our best, that's what counts. Health looks different for everyone, so do you and don't sweat the occasional treat hidden in the pantry. A little progress goes a long way!

Digestion is a significant concern for both Mike and me. While we have distinct digestive issues, they both center around gut health. Consequently, it is essential that I purchase and prepare foods that promote gut health. I refrain from consuming most gluten and dairy, whereas Mike does not. Hence, we still have those products in our kitchen.

Through experience, I've mastered the art of budget-friendly healthy shopping, albeit with a few sacrifices along the way. Our kitchen isn't bursting with endless food options; instead, we opt for simplicity to ensure we always have fresh, consumable items on hand. This approach may result in recurring meals and déjà vu lunches or dinners, but the taste remains top-notch, leaving us feeling great.

In my kitchen, you will find a comprehensive list of items that I regularly keep stocked. This inventory aims to provide an authentic glimpse into a nutritionist's kitchen setup.

...so what's REALLY in my kitchen?
